ACADIANA JUNIOR TEAM TENNIS LEAGUE

June 14^th – July 24th

The Acadiana USTA Junior Team Tennis League will consist of the PLAY and LEARN format using Quickstart equipment for kids ages 10 and under and regular balls for ages 11 and up. The league consists of practices held at Thomas Park, Beaver Park, and Acadiana Park and league matches held on Saturdays. Please see the schedule below. The cost of the league is $35.00 that includes balls, a Nike USTA team tennis jersey, practices and matches.

Mondays: Beaver Park

9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. Quickstart (Ages 6-10)

10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. (Ages 11-18)

Tuesdays: Acadiana Park

9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. Quickstart (Ages 6-10)

10:00 a.m. – 11:0 a.m. (Ages 11-18)

Wednesdays: Thomas Park

9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. Quickstart (Ages 6-10)

10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. (Ages 11-18)

Saturdays: MATCH DAY held at Thomas Park from 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.

Matches will ONLY be for Intermediate Divisions or those 11 and older.

How do I play?

1. Join USTA! Junior membership is $18 per year and includes a magazine just for juniors. Go to www.usta.com and click on the Membership tab.

2. After joining USTA, visit www.louisianatennis.com and select the Junior Team Tennis tab.

3. Click the link for “ Join Acadiana Team Tennis”. Enter your USTA number, age division, and t-shirt size.

5. Congratulations, you have joined the ACADIANA SUMMER 2010 LEAGUE!
