 Lafayette Parish Schools, Bill Phillips and Jeff Smith conducted a 3 hour USTA shools inservice. Teachers received the latest curriculum for their PE classes and supplemental equipment like portable nets and foam balls.  They, in turn, will help recruit parents and kids to participate in our Junior Team Tennis program at Lafayette public parks.The workshop took place at Robichaux Center Friday, November 9th, 2007 and was attended by 80 teachers from 29 elementary schools. Their physical education program will connect to both aftercare programs and to the existing public parks Junior Team Tennis program.
