A Community Tennis Association (CTA) is a local organization that is part of the USTA network that promotes and develops the growth of tennis and is made up of tennis enthusiasts interested in seeing the game of tennis grow in their area.
Our local chapter, The Acadiana Community Tennis Association, (ACTA) is run by a volunteer Board of Directors.

Since our beginning in 1999 we have supported grass root Junior and Adult development programs through the USA Tennis programs developed by the USTA.
We are sponsoring supporters of U of L varsity tennis teams.
We have plans for expansion and improvements of local tennis facilities.

This web site is one of our efforts to get and keep the local tennis community aware of the resources, events, and opportunities available to them.
